1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Sceptrum (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. License Grant

Sceptrum Inc. ("we," "us," or "Company") grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and install one copy of the Sceptrum software on a single Windows device that you own or control, solely for your personal use.

You may not:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
Modify, rent, lease, or lend the Service
Transfer or resell the Service
Remove or alter copyright notices or other proprietary markings
Use the Service for commercial purposes without written consent

3. System Requirements & Compatibility

The Service is designed for Windows 10 (21H2) or later. We make no warranty regarding compatibility with other operating systems or configurations. You are responsible for maintaining compatible hardware and software.

4. User Accounts & Credentials

If you create an account, you are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account information
Providing accurate and current information during registration
All activities that occur under your account
Promptly notifying us of unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code

You retain all rights to your own data. By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use your feedback and suggestions to improve the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

          TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: SCEPTRUM INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
        

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

          THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE SERVICE, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
        

While we strive to protect your device, we do not guarantee that the Service will prevent all threats or malware.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sceptrum Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or losses arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these terms
Your infringement of any rights of third parties

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, upon notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in California.
