Building system-level trust for the AI era
Sceptrum is an on-device system intelligence layer that gives users real-time visibility and control over how software and AI access system resources — even when offline.
The Problem
Modern software silently accesses cameras, microphones, files, networks, and external AI APIs. Users and developers lack a unified, real-time understanding of what is happening inside their own machines. As AI becomes deeply embedded into everyday software, this lack of visibility creates privacy risks, security blind spots, and erosion of trust.
The Solution
Sceptrum runs locally as a trusted authority that observes system behavior, explains activity in human-readable terms, and enforces user-defined rules. By operating on-device, Sceptrum preserves privacy, works offline, and eliminates reliance on cloud-based monitoring.
Product Direction
The product focuses on real-time system visibility, offline-first operation, and clarity. Early prototypes demonstrate local monitoring, event tracking, and policy-based control designed to be understandable without deep technical expertise.
Early Traction
Sceptrum launched publicly on Product Hunt and reached #15. Feedback highlighted strong interest in local-first design, trust, and transparency as AI adoption accelerates.
Team
S. Prudvi Aditya — Founder
Solo founder currently working full-time on Sceptrum. Focused on system-level software, privacy-first architecture, and building transparent AI-era infrastructure. Responsible for product vision, design, and execution.
Founder Note
I started Sceptrum after repeatedly seeing how much trust users are forced to place in software they cannot see or understand — especially as AI becomes more autonomous. This project is built full-time with a long-term focus on creating a transparent, user-controlled foundation for modern computing.
The Ask
I’m raising a $10,000 angel round for 10% equity to support focused development, validation, and iteration of the core product.
